Booking & Quotes

How do I book a voiceover project?

Start by submitting a project inquiry through the contact form. Include as much detail as you can, such as the type of project, script length, usage, deadline, and any creative direction you already have in mind. Once I review the details, I'll follow up with any questions, provide a custom quote, and confirm the next steps.

What information do you need for a quote?

The more context, the better. Helpful details include: project type, script length or word count, where the voiceover will be used and for how long, market size or audience reach, deadline, preferred file format, whether you need a live-directed session; any reference videos, style notes, or creative direction. If you're not sure about all of that yet, no problem. Send what you have and I'll help guide the conversation.

How are voiceover rates determined?

Rates are based on several factors, including script length, usage, market size, campaign term, exclusivity, turnaround, revisions, and production scope. For example, a short internal corporate video is priced differently than a national broadcast commercial, because the usage, audience size, and value of the voiceover are different. All rates listed on this site are starting rates. Final pricing is always quoted individually based on the details of your project.

What does "usage" mean?

Usage refers to how, where, and for how long the voiceover will be used. A voiceover used internally by a company has different usage than one running in a paid national advertising campaign. Broadcast. Digital, streaming, paid social, web, internal, and public-facing projects are all quoted differently based on their scope.

Do you offer custom quotes?

Yes. Every project is unique, and custom quotes are always available. If your project doesn’t fit neatly into one of the listed service categories, just reach out directly. I’ll help identify the right category, ask the right questions, and provide a clear quote before any recording begins.

Recording & Delivery

What is your typical turnaround time?

Turnaround depends on project length, complexity, and scheduling, but many short-form projects can be delivered within 24–48 hours after the script, quote, and project details are approved. Rush delivery may be available depending on my schedule.

Do you offer live-directed sessions?

Yes. Source-Connect and live remote direction are available. If you’d like to direct the session in real time, we can coordinate a live session so you, your client, producer, creative director, or team can provide direction during the recording.

What kind of audio quality can I expect?

Clean, professional, broadcast-ready audio recorded from my Chicago home studio. My setup includes a Rode NT1 5th Generation microphone, Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 interface, Adobe Audition, Source-Connect capability, and professional editing experience. Files can be delivered as WAV, MP3, or other formats as needed.

Do you provide edited audio?

Yes. Standard delivery includes clean, professionally recorded audio with basic editing. Additional production needs, such as advanced editing, file splitting, mastering, syncing, or large-volume export requirements, may affect the final quote.

What file formats do you provide?

Most projects are delivered as WAV or MP3 files. If you need a specific format, sample rate, bit depth, naming convention, or file structure, just let me know before recording.

Do you provide revisions or pickups?

Yes. Minor pickups for performance adjustments or pronunciation corrections are typically included when related to my read. Script changes, new copy, major creative changes, or revisions requested after approval may require an additional fee depending on the scope.

Can I send you direction or reference examples?

Absolutely. Direction is always welcome. Helpful references may include previous commercials, sample reads, brand videos, pacing notes, pronunciation guides, tone words, or anything that helps clarify the sound you’re looking for. The more clearly we define the target, the easier it is to deliver a read that fits your vision.
